About Anita

Today, I help people connect the dots, heal, strategize and problem solve along their journeys to their highest and best selves and discover what it means to live a liberated life of health, love and purpose. But it hasn’t always been like that. I spent most of her life doing battle with myself and the universe trying to overcome the obstacles that constantly landed in front of me, ME being the biggest obstacle of all.  From the death of my mom at the age of eight, leaving home at sixteen, the birth of my twin daughters at nineteen, single parenthood and a laundry list of other things including sobriety and health issues, I learned the hard way the importance of understanding your unique design and purpose, celebrating your strength and the milestones along the way, taking time to heal the wounds (yours, mine, ours, the collectives) developing a strategy that best serves you and continually checking your personal road map to stay on course.  My passion is making sure the path is easier for those I works with!

What You Get (the important stuff!)

I don’t just talk the talk, I walk the walk.  That means sometimes it’s messy. I’m a storyteller, so you’ll hear my tales of triumph but, more importantly, of small steps, big mistakes, and the magic (and hilarity) that ensues when you stop trying to walk someone else’s path or as I like to say stop climbing the wrong rock!  Music of all kinds soothes this savage beast.  Used bookstores are my utopia.  I am extremely serious but I have a silly side and a wicked sense of humor.  Dancing (the shake your ass and move from your deepest soul parts kinds) is usually my only form of exercise and I believe every woman should dance every day.  When I need to really disconnect it’s a Bravo-fest around these parts.  After a decade, I am finally getting used to the empty nest. I understand the real health impacts of stress, fear and people pleasing.
